Motherboard Magazine digs into Warranty Law

Jason Koebler dug into how warranty law should be protecting consumers, not vendors.

Originally intended to protect consumers wanting to change their own oil or do their own tune-ups, the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act of 1975 is still the law of the land.

Those "Removing this sticker will void your warranty" warnings are illegal, but its hard to get the FTC to take action.
